Introduction
Zarkhez-e is a digital financing SBP initiative for crop production, being offered by Bank AL Habib to support small farmers across Pakistan.
The scheme offers collateral-free crop production loan through an easy digital process. Farmers can instantly access essential inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and diesel from bank’s approved Agri Merchants along with limited cash support with built in farmer’s life and crop loan insurance coverage.
Agronomy related advisory services are also offered to farmers under Zarkhez-e financing.
Financing Limit:
- Up to Rs. 100,000 per acre
- Maximum Rs. 1 million for landowners
- Maximum Rs. 500,000 for tenant farmers
Eligibility:
- Farmers owning or cultivating land up to:
- 12.5 acres in Punjab & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- 16 acres in Sindh
- 32 acres in Balochistan

A standardized digital system ensures quick processing and proper use of funds through registered Agri-merchants.
