Eligibility Criteria
AL Habib Credit Card is available for existing customers of the bank.

Existing individual Account Holders
-
Salaried employees of Corporate Relationships receiving monthly salaries in their Bank AL Habib account.

Self-employed Professionals and Businessmen.

Age: 21-60 years for salaried customers.

Age: 21-65 years for self-employed Professional and Businessmen.

Age for Supplementary Card Applicant: 18-70 years.

Minimum Income requirement for salaried applicants PKR 20,000 per month.

Minimum Income requirement for self-employed Professional & Businessmen PKR 25,000 per month.

Debt burden not to exceed 40% of take-home income of the applicant.

Clearance from eCIB and compliance with SBP Prudential Regulations.

SBP Directives for Cross-Border Transactions:

Debit/Credit Card individual cross border industry wide transactions limit is now capped up to USD 30,000 annually and will only be allowed for personal usage. It is applicable from November 1st 2022.

Cards usage limits will be prescribed limits as per the risk profile of customers.
-
Non-compliance of this circular may lead to will face pecuniary or administration action if deemed necessary by SBP.

A proper due diligence and update of risk profiling of the customers is required at the time of card on boarding and allow cross border limit as per their profiles. Issuance of multiple cards to the customers must be adjusted as per their risk profiles and should also be monitored.

- Bank prescribed application form.
- Copy of Computerized National Identity Card.
- Bank Statement Minimum of Six months.
- CF 1-Annexure Annexure – details of various facilities already obtain from other Banks/DFIs.
- Credit Shield undertaking, if customer opts, for Credit Shield.
- Income Document
For Salaried Applicants
- Salary Slip or Certificate preferably signed and stamped by Employer.
- Last six months bank statement crediting the salary amount.
For Self-Employed Professionals & Businessmen:
- Proprietorship letter.
- Company last six-month bank statement.
For Partnerships:
- Partnership deed.
- Company last six-month bank statement.
Director Public or Private Limited Company:
- Company Articles and Memorandum of Association form “29 A” where-in mentioned ownership stake.
- Company last six-month bank statement.
